Taman Sari
The Royal Water Castle
About Taman Sari
Taman Sari, meaning "fragrant garden," was built in the mid-18th century as a royal garden and bathing complex for the Sultan of Yogyakarta. This beautiful water castle combines Javanese and Portuguese architecture.
